Niche Inspector Review

Many of you will have experienced recent problems with Niche Inspector not returning Overture data.

Personally, I was placing less and less reliance on Overture data, which has not been updated for many months. After Overture transferred to Yahoo, they announced that the tool would be phased out, and it appears that this has now happened.

Niche Inspector is one of the few tools that foresaw this problem and did something about it. The author, Myleena Phan, has just told me about her plans with respect to Overture problems.

Overture has decided to close their keyword tool for good. I will update NI soon to reflect this change.

So you can expect a new version of Niche Inspector very soon.

From past experience, new versions usually appear pretty quickly. If you are new to Niche Inspector, the update process is extremely simple.

Every time you open Niche Inspector, it checks it’s server for new versions. If there is one, you are prompted to install it. You are not forced into updating, but I can see no reason why you would not do it.

In a few moments, your latest version is installed, and any problems that you might have had with Niche Inspector will disappear.

If only everything in life was so simple.
